U11’s: The U11s enjoyed a great maatch with our neighbours Oram on Thursday last, 15th June, there was some great skills on display and all these young ballers are continuing to improve. The county finals are on in Cloghan Saturday 1st July.
Intermediate League: Toome had an away fixture to Monaghan Harps on Friday last 16th June in what was another entertaining clash in the intermediate league. Despite James Wilson kicking 3:06, Toome were unable to finish the game off and claim the 2 points and had to share the spoils. Defensive errors cost the visitors a 7-point lead and unfortunately it is likely that Toom will find themselves in the relegation play-offs. William Woods who was playing well and causing trouble had to come off at half time after getting a knock . The team for the most part played well and have plenty of positives to take away from this match, next up is a home fixture against Emyvale on Saturday 1st July, time to be confirmed. Please be sure to come along to show your support. #BeThe16thMan. FT Score: Toome 3:10 – 3:10 Monaghan Harps.
