By Majella Boyd Thu 15th Jun

50/50 Draw The June draw will take place on the last Friday of the month. To get organised for the draw you can get your entry on the Clubforce link

https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2767&intMF_ID=7833#Anchor

This provides you with different payment options including setting up a 12 month direct debit subscription paid on a monthly basis which will ensure you are in for every draw.

Alternatively you can get an entry through REVOLUT to @bbol123 putting your name and contact telephone number in the note. Your support is very much appreciated as this is our primary source of fundraising.

Garda vetting: Castleblayney Hurling Club is committed to the welfare and protection of all our members. As part of this commitment the club requires all coaches, training assistants and volunteers who are associated with our underage teams to comply with the legal requirement to have Garda vetting. Please complete your vetting asap. Any questions, contact Marisa email: childrensofficer.castleblayneyhurling.monaghan@gaa.ie.

Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!

U-7’s/U-9’s are looking forward to the Monaghan Go Games blitz on Wednesday 14th at 7pm at Cloghan, hosted by Monaghan Coaching & Games.

U-13’s enjoyed a very busy day on Sunday 11th June when they headed off to Dublin to play a challenge match against Na Fianna and proceeded on to Croker to watch a thrilling Leinster Final between Kilkenny and Galway. The club and parents say a special thank you to the coaches of the U-13’s, Mark McMahon, Benny Bolger & Jarlath Denny who gave the boys a great day, also to Paul Murphy, Paddy Collins & Eamon Maillie who helped out on the day. Go raibh míle míle maith agaibh go léir!

Féile is coming up on Saturday 24th June and our Féile players will be selling lines to help fundraise for the event. Lines can be bought from any player or by revolut to @natalienoone or @bbol123 if you would like to support them. GRMA!

Special Birthday wishes to one of our coaches, wee bird said Matty Martin had a roundy birthday recently. Happy birthday Matty, hope you had a good one!

Congratulations to Deaglan Crowe and his wife Kate on the new addition to their family, baby Finn. A future hurler for the green and gold!
