Tyholland Club Notes 25.05.2023

Slotto: Our jackpot of €5,000 last week was not won! The numbers drawn were 12,13,24,25 and we had no match 3 winners this week! Don’t forget to play your slotto online with the Clubforce app https://bit.ly/3dF91dK on our Facebook page to play again this week or you can still enter at Mackles Silverstream, Hughes Costcutter and at the centre! Our new Jackpot starts at €5,100!!! We thank everyone who continues to support our Slotto draw which provides vital funds for the maintenance of our club.

 

Eurotech Junior League: Our Senior men welcome Oram to St. Patricks on Friday for their next round in the JFL. Good luck to players and management!

Minors: Our U18 men played a very high energy game against NaMullai Sarsfields last Friday resulting in a draw. This was the last of the league games, details to follow on next round. The U17 league is due to being in June.

U15s: Tyholland U15s had a super week last week with vistories over Aghabog and Rockcorry! Well done boys.

 

U13’s: The U12 boys team are away to Corduff on Saturday at 11.30am.

 

U11’s: Our 11s welcomed Killanny for a home game last Saturday resulting in a great game with massive work rate and skill on show! Well done all!

 

Go Games: This Saturday morning the U9s are off on their travels for their next set of Go Games.

 

U7’s/U5’s: Training continues for this group every Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This session caters for boys & girls from 4-9 years of age. New faces are always welcome….spread the word! Please contact Alan Farrelly 086 3850435 if you have a child who may be interested in attending.

 

Ladies

 

U18s: Our Minor Ladies welcome Killanny to Tyholland tonight (Thursday) for a 7.30 throw in.

 

U16’s: Tyhollands U16 girls have a home game on Monday (29th) v Magheracloone!

 

U14s: Great win for our U14 girlies who played a super game v Corduff on Monday. Maith sibh!!

 

U12s: Our U12 girls had a tough encounter v Monaghan Harps on Saturday but played brilliantly!

 

U10/8s: Our cailiní beag continue training!

 

Best of luck to all players, mentors and medics for the week ahead. Please come along and support our teams.

 

Club Guardian Programme: At this point members have received information about our Club Guardian Programme. We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. Committee members will be in touch soon as a follow up to the communication you have received but if you have any questions in the meantime or would like to become part of the programme, please contact our treasurer Maria on 00447739010135 or any committee member.

 

Tyholland Senior Gym: Our Gym is strictly for Senior registered players only. There have been a few incidents of non- members and U18s using the Gym and this is NOT permitted.

 

Field Development: You will all have seen the first of our generous sponsors signs along the newly developed pitch. Many thanks to Silverstream Remewables who are this weeks JFL sponsors.

 

Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties,

christening’s and charity events. Contact the Facebook page to book your event or call 086

8222426 to check availability.

 

Parent & Toddler Group: Continues every 1st & 3rd Friday in the community centre. For more information, you can contact Louise on 0044 7821554012 or Helen on 086 3491730. All welcome.

 

Spraoi Scór: The primary school level of Scor competitions are coming up soon and we will have more details next week. In the meantime we would love to see some of our members involved in the Stage events on Friday 16th June. We also hope to enter a Tráth na gCeist team on Thursday 15th June. Congratulations: We are an extra proud club this week with so many of our members involved in Ulsters!! Firstly, Congrats to Niamh Tiernan and the County Minor Ladies team on their Ulster Championship win over Tyrone and to Cian McKenna on his Gold medal in the Ulster Athletics Finals in the Shotput. Well done and Good luck to Joe O’Boyle who is part of the Ulster Minor management and are in the Ulster Final this Saturday after an epic penalty shoot out in the semi’s!
