U9’s: Training will be every Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8pm in Tully. The club held a go blitz last Saturday in Tully and what a day. We had 2 x teams on the day and they held their own in every game – super performance and great day by all. thanks for Evan and Thomas for referring the games on the day. Off to Ballybay on 10th of June for next go games.

Inter County news: Well, done to the Monaghan senior county team with a well-earned point against Derry last weekend. Great to see Karl and Ryan in all the action and both put in a super performance.

Unfortunately on Sunday last , the Monaghan minor team lost out on an Ulster title. Again, playing Derry in Armagh but they went out on penalties. Just unlucky on the day. Again, Andrew and Mathew started on the day and put in a great performance and Mathew Finn late point bought the game into extra time. Johnnie Wright came on in extra time and had a great game. The 3 lads are a credit to their club. Anyway – it was just not their day . Thomas Smyth was with the Monaghan Minor Hurlers on Saturday who played in the Celtic Challenge Minor Hurling Final v Wicklow Blues in Dublin but unfortunately it was not their day also .

Good Luck: Emyvale GAA wish all the students in the parish and the club the very best of luck next week when they start their Junior and Leaving certificate examinations.
