Doohamlet Club Notes 04.05.2023

Condolences:  Doohamlet G.F.C extends their deepest sympathy to Nuala and Mickey Conlon and their extended family on the death of their son Joseph.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Condolences also to Attrachta Mc Donald and family on the recent death of her brother Michael Mc Ardle.  Suaimhneas síoraí dó. 

Our U-13 Match and our Blotto draw were cancelled this week as a mark of respect to John Mc Kenna and family on the death of his father Paddy Mc Kenna.

 Congratulations to Jason Mc Elroy and Julie Ann Twomey who were married last weekend. 

Doohamlet G.F.C.  Results: Reserve football league:  Our Reserve football team had a great win on Wednesday evening the 26th of April when they played Tyholland in the preliminary round of the Crawley Cup. Doohamlet took full charge of the game in the first half and went in at half-time with an extensive lead, the second half was a more evenly matched game however Doohamlet came out as the clear winners and continues onto the quarter-finals of the Crawley Cup.  Well done to the team and management.   TeamAidan Marray, Mark Burns, Sean Markey, Jack Mc Elroy, Ciaran Mc Manus, Emmet Mc Manus, (0-1) Brian Mc Kenna, Kevin Mc Ardle, Eoin Markey, (1-0) Oisin O Neill (0-5) Cillian Walshe (0-1) Damien Ward (0-2) Ciaran Markey (2-5) Dylan Mc Kenna (0-2) Shane Mc Bennett (0-1).  Subs used; Christopher Boylan replaced Damien Ward.   

Results:  Our U-15 team St. Kevins beat Emerald Sarsfields in Blackhill last Thursday the 27th.  Well done to the team and management.  

Doohamlet G.F.C. Fixtures:  

Thursday the 4th of May our U-15 team St. Kevins plays Corduff at 7.30 pm in Corduff. 

Our Senior team plays Clones on Sunday the 7th of May in St. Tiernachs Park Clones at 2pm.
