Clontibret Club notes 11.05.2023

Senior League

Clontibret 0-16 Aughnamullen 0-4 Steady progress in the senior league continued at the weekend with a comfortable win over a weakened Aughnamullen side. Bigger tests await however and they don’t get much bigger than county champions Ballybay who visit O’Neill Park on Saturday for a 7pm throw in. After that its away to Inniskeen.

Reserve B Football

The B’s have a trip to Blayney this Wednesday in the RFL D1 and then face Scotstown in the O’Duffy Cup quarter final on Friday 19th May at 7.30pm in O’Neill Park

Reserve C Football

Clontibret 1-11 Truagh 4-3 The C’s lost their way in the second half of the game with Truagh on Wednesday last conceding three goals for a one point defeat. On Wednesday 17th the C’s have Killeevan as visitors in the league while the McKeown Cup quarter final away to Carrick is on Sunday 21st May at 2pm

Hurling

Following on from a heavy defeat to Carrick last Thursday the hurlers are away to Truagh this week in the Development League

U6s/7s

Training continues this week at the same time of Friday evening at 6pm. Well done to our U7s last Saturday with their first blitz of the year.

 

U9s

Training continues Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Blitz this Satur-day 13th May. Vinny to confirm venue and times.

 

U11s

Training to continue as normal Monday 6.30pm & Thursday 7.30pm.

 

U13s

Training Tuesday. There’s a possible refixture of Saturday’s game v Scotstown to Friday evening . Management to confirm at training.

 

U15s

Game for Division 1 team on Thursday at home to Maghercloone at 7.30pm. Game for Division 5B team on Friday evening away to Latton at 7.30pm.

 

U17/18s

Game Tuesday night v Scotstown at home with a 7.30pm start and away to Emyvale next week.
