Sponsor The club would like to acknowledge our ongoing main sponsor, Pete McMahon of Centra & Supervalu Castleblayney. Pete’s sponsorship is important to the club and is greatly appreciated.

Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!

Monaghan Go Games Our U7’s and U9’s will attend their 2nd Monaghan Go Games Blitz at Truagh on Sun 21st May at 10am.

U15 Táin Óg Final 13th May 2023 Hot on the heels of our juvenile presentation last Monday, our U15’s started the season off by winning their Tain Óg Final against Na Magha which took place in Lisnaskea Saturday, 13th May. The boys, led by captain Harry McQuillan, ably demonstrated their skills and abilities with the hurl and emerged victorious on a score line of Blayney 5-04 Na Magha 0-06. Conaire Casey deservedly won the Player of the Match award. Well done lads, keep those winning ways going!

County Hurlers & management are extended best wishes as they head into the last round of the Lory Meagher Cup when they meet Longford in Cloghan next Saturday at 1pm. Having beaten Lancashire in Pairc na h-Eireann on Sunday last, this is an important match for the lads and all support is very welcome.

Monaghan Celtic Challenge Team well done to Castleblayney Hurling Club U17 representatives on the Co Monaghan Celtic Challenge team. A great campaign of matches with a resounding victory over Fermanagh in the Semi Final and a Final v Wicklow on the weekend of 27th May. Best wishes to Gabriel, Patrick, Emmet & the whole team.

Monaghan U15 Hurlers – Hibernia Cup well done to our club representatives on the U15 Monaghan team who proved too strong for Louth on Saturday and have now set themselves up for an away match on May 20th against Fermanagh.
