Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s Lotto. The numbers drawn were 3,7,19,23. This week’s lucky dip winners were Sean Kerley, Gerry Finnegan, Philip & Margaret McCabe. Next week’s jackpot will be €7100.

Seniors

First league match resulted in a loss against Clontibret. 1-8 to 0-3. A disappointing start for the lads who never got going against a fancied Clontibret side.

Next match is AWAY to Scotstown on Sunday 23rd @1PM.

Sports Nutrition Talk

The club wishes to thank all players and parents from both the mens and ladies club who attended the very informative sports and nutrition talk by Sharon Courtney last Wednesday.

Monaghan Seniors

Monaghan Seniors progressed to the Ulster Semi Final as they beat Tyrone in a fascinating match in Omagh on Sunday. They await the winners of Cavan V Armagh.

Monaghan U20’s

Disappointing Semi final loss to Down by the Monaghan U20. Some match highlights can be seen below.  Well done to Dlyan Byrne and Daniel McCahey who can hold their heads high on excellent personnel performances.

All Round 2 games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Under 9’s

Under 9 training will continue on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am on the Prunty Pitch.

Under 7’s/ Academy

The U7’s took center stage at half time in the Senior League match V Clontibret.

An entertaining game was played out with a fantastic group of very excited and determined players.

Greens  :  Callum Meegan, Louie Ownes, Cadan Kierley, Oran Ward, Lughan McCague, Caolan Flatherty.

Oranges  : Fiachra Reilly, Jack Mea, Daire Babbington, Ronan Jones, Jamie Ward, Padraig Gunn, Thomas Finegan.

Club 200 Draw

Tickets should be returned in advance of the first draw on May 8th. Great response on ticket returns already. Thanks to all who purchased and best of luck in the draw.

Each monthly prize is €1000 finishing up with 3 prizes in December’s draw.

New Pitch Open Weekends

The walking track at the new pitch will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 9pm.

Ireland Lights Up

The walking track continues every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm.
