Seniors

We travelled to neighbours Killevan last Saturday evening in front of a large crowd and secured a point after final score of 0-14 to 1-11. We went in ahead at the half time whistle by three points with scoreline of 0-7 to 1-7.

In the second half we pushed on and extended our lead to four points. However, Killevan brought the scoreline back to a point with time nearly up. Killevan then equalised and only for some wayward shooting would have won the game. Despite us carrying several injuries a much needed overall improved performance is required going forward.

Ulster Championship

Monaghan secured a great victory over arch-rivals Tyrone, in Healy Park on Sunday last. A fantastic second half performance saw the lads run out with a two-point victory, after going in at half time five points down. Well done Vinny and all the team. Up next Derry in the Ulster Semi Final in two weeks’ time.
