Clontibret 1-11 Corduff 0-11
A ding dong battle with newly promoted Corduff on Sunday last with a more clinical second half display settling the matter. Next up is a trip to Aughnamullen on Sunday, May 7th.
Reserve B Football
It’s championship time for the Bs at home to Blayney on Sunday at 2pm in the O’Duffy Cup.
Reserve C Football
The game in Carrick last Saturday was called off just prior to throw in due a waterlogged pitch. Next is a home game with Truagh on Wednesday May 3rd with a McKeown Cup quarter final playing the winners of Carrick v Currin also to be fitted in.
Hurling
This week the hurlers are away to Latton in the Development League.
Ulster Semi Final
Best wishes to the Monaghan team and management taking on Ulster Champions Derry in the semi final in Omagh on Saturday at 5pm. Special shout out to our clubmen in management Vinny and Marty Corey and players Conor McManus, Conor Boyle, Killian Lavelle, Francis Hughes and Darren McDonnell.
U6s/7s
Training continues this week at the same time of Friday evening at 6pm.
U9s
Training continues Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. First Go Games of the year this Saturday in Clontibret from 10am-12pm.
U11s
Great to get a start to the season last Saturday with some great displays against Scotstown. Training continues Monday & Thursday evenings 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
U13s
Opening round of the league starts this Saturday. Management to have full details at training.
U15s
Another two very good games in the third round of the leagues with hard fought wins against Kilanny and Donaghmoyne last Thursday/Friday evening. Training to continue Tuesday at 7pm. Game this Thursday at home v Aughnamullen for the first team. Home to Killanny on Friday evening for the second team. Both games have 7.30pm starts.
U17/18s
Game Tuesday night v Clones at home with a 7.30pm start.
