Ulster GAA Charity Sky Dive

The Ulster GAA skydive takes place on Friday April 14th. . Still  time to donate on behalf of Dessie to both the Air Ambulance NI & Prostate Cancer Research at QUB at https://ulster.gaa.ie/skydive

Club 240

A big thank you to everyone who have set up new standing orders or paid their 240 online directly into the bank. This is greatly appreciated, as our ability to show our income stream, and club member numbers will hopefully help us get the much-needed Sports Capital grant funding required to carry out floodlighting to our new pitch.

We are appealing to everyone who uses our facilities and supports the club, to set-up their €20 monthly standing order, or pay €240 directly into our bank, or to any promoter. All payments made, or standing orders set up before Easter  will be entered into a big cash prize Easter Draw.

Registration

Registration is now due for renewal  and all players at all levels and codes must be registered for 2023 before partaking in training sessions or games in order to be covered for the Player Injury Fund. All members, including non-players, must renew now.

Car Park Upgrade

The new car park has now been fully surfaced and lined and with lighting poles erected really looks the part. With parking spaces laid out for more than 160 vehicles, including disabled spaces and emergency vehicles it will be a major asset for visitors to our grounds and is another vital link in the ongoing chain of development at O’Neill Park. Many thanks to all the volunteers who worked so hard to prepare it for surfacing , to the Clar Programme ( Monaghan County Council & Dept of Rural &  Community Development ) for the contribution to surface it and to SSE Renewables Community Benefit Fund for the lighting contribution. These grants have enabled the completion of this fine asset but none of it would be possible without the generous contributions of our 240 Club members who continue to provide the basic funding that enables our Development Programme to continue year on year.
