Seniors: Our senior team began their 2023 season on Saturday evening last at home to Ballybay, where they were beaten on a scoreline of 1-22 to 0-12. This was a game which the lads could never grasp a hold on, with the visitors on flying form from beginning to end. Ballybay ran into an early 0-05 to 0-00 lead, leaving the boys with an uphill battle to get back into the game. Keith Sheridan opened our scoring with a well worked team move, with our next score coming from the boot of Ben McCabe with arguably the score of the game. The adverse weather conditions didn’t hamper Bal’ybay’s ability to score, with a half time tally of 1-12 clocked up it was always going to be a mountain to climb for the lads in the second half. A couple of excellent frees from Tiernan Duffy, as well as debuts for a number of our younger players were our highlights of a game which we can only learn from and look to improve upon this weekend. We take on Inniskeen away from home this Sunday in the league at 2pm. Best of luck to the team and management, all support welcome.

Reserves: Our reserve team’s next game in the league is away to Corduff on Wednesday the 10th of May at 7.45pm. We have been drawn at home to neighbours Latton in the Reserve Championship O’Duffy Cup on Sunday the 30th of April at 2pm. This fixture will be subject to change date and time. Keep an eye on social media for updates.
