By Majella Boyd Fri 31st Mar

Division 2B: The Division 2B Reserve League comes to St Victors Park this Sunday 2nd April as Toome take on Sean McDermotts at 2:00pm . Please be sure to come along and support the lads. #BeThe16thMan.

Juvenile Training: Our youngest ballers (4 – 11 years) continue to develop their skills with training each Saturday morning from 10:00am. All the children are having a great time and plenty of fun while making new friends as they develop their skills. Under 9’s and U11’s will also train on a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm on the main field, see you all there.
Please spread the word to your friends, family, neighbours and relations, new children are always very welcome. Thanks to all our coaches/mentors who give their time so generously.

Gary’s Road to Recovery: It was a great honour for the Club to present a cheque for € 10,000 to the Casey family on Friday night last in the community centre. This will go towards the much-needed funds to help with his long journey of rehabilitation and treatment to aid his recovery from this life changing accident. This was the result of the monies raised from the Toome 6k Run/Walk held in February. Thank you to all who helped make this fundraiser the success that it was. Please don’t forget that the Gig for Garry is on Saturday 8th of April in the Glencarn Hotel with a fabulous line-up of guests so be sure to support.
Club Membership: Club Membership for the forthcoming year is now due, it is essential to ensure that Club membership is paid to cover the cost of team affiliations, insurances and player injury fund. With that in mind we ask all our players, members and families to log in and pay their membership online in a safe and secure environment in the comfort of your home or on the go. Once again we are utilising Clubforce to facilitate the payment of membership. We ask that all members download the Clubforce app from the App Store or Google Play store, or you can click on the link here: https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2409&clb=1 if viewing online.

Club membership is vital to the survival of the Club and please remember all players are required to have their membership completed to be covered for the Player Injury Fund. If you have any queries in relation to the Clubforce App please contact Damien O’Reilly on 087 125 2126

For anyone who wishes to pay directly to the Club Pete Devlin is the new Club registrar and will take payment or alternatively Dermot Reavey will also take payment.

Astro Pitch: Pitches available for hire, if you would like to make a booking, please call on 089 965 1828 to secure your slot.

Development Works: Fencing work around the pitch is almost complete this has been all completed voluntarily by Gerrard Kelly and would not have been done without the week in week out effort from two young club men Paudie Lambe and Stephen Kelly. Eoghan Donaghy and Mark McMahon have commenced working on the concrete plinth and were assisted at the weekend by PJ Lambe. If you can give any time at all it would be greatly appreciated.
