Ulster League Senior Final:

Congratulations to Corduff Gaels Senior team and management on reaching their first final of 2023, the Ulster GAA Senior League Final having defeated Newbridge, Derry in the Ulster League Senior Semi-Final on St Patrick’s Day. Despite the far from ideal conditions Corduff got off to a commanding start going 1-7 to 0-3 up by the last few  minutes of the first half. However it was Newbridge that finished the half stronger with 2 goals narrowing the margin to a point by the whistle on a scoreline of 1-8 to 2-10.  Continuing with the scoring after the restart Newbridge added to their tally going even. That would be the last time the visitors would be in touching distance of the hosts as Corduff regained control and finished victorious on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-8. This was a super victory and Corduff now await the winners of the other semi-final between Latton and Ballinascreen, Derry.
