50/50 Draw for March takes place on the last Friday of the month. We are delighted to announce that we are running another free membership draw for all paid up members at the end of March, so get registering! Volunteers the club is actively encouraging anybody who might be interested in helping out with our underage teams. Please contact Coaching Officer, David Connolly on 086 2517407 for further details.
Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!
U7’s & U9’s continue training Wednesday 6-7pm in Castleblayney College gym.
Any child born 2016 and 2017 looking to join our U7s can contact David 0862517407 for further details. U9’s coach is Paul 086 1964932. Well done to our U-7’s who competed today in their 2nd DKIT Regional Blitz organised by RDHO, Oisin McManus. They played six games against Warrenpoint, Clonduff, Knockbridge & Craobh Rua.

U11 – 25th Mar 12-2pm
U11’s continue training on Monday nights in Castleblayney College gym from 7.30 – 8.30pm. €2 per child to cover cost of hall. Child to bring own hurl, helmet and water bottle.
U-13 training continues on Wednesdays in the Boys School Astro turf from 6-30 to 7-30pm.
U15’s continue training from 6.30 to 7.30pm on Mondays at the Boys School Astro turf.
Monaghan Hurlers next match is against Roscommon next Sat 18th March in Clontibret at 2pm. Best of luck lads.
St Patrick’s Weekend and Mothers Day fall on this Friday and Sunday respectively and no doubt all our hurlers will be showing some TLC to their mammies! Hope everyone has a lovely family weekend celebrating these two very special days.
