GAAgglebox:
Blackhill GAA in association with Grand ED Productions are excited to announce that we are hosting a GAAglebox event on May 6th in the Glencarn at 8pm to raise funds for the development of our club grounds.
We are very proud to see our membership numbers begin to rise again and we must now look to the future. We aim to begin the construction of a 2nd playing field. This will of course require a large investment and we must begin fundraising to make this dream a reality.
The last major fundraiser that the club held was way back in 1984 when the club raffled a house. At that time, as well as in the intervening years, it was the support of local people, local businesses and the wider GAA network that allowed our club to continue to improve. The club sincerely thank everyone who has contributed in any way and we would love to see you all at this upcoming event for what is sure to be a very memorable night! All proceeds from ticket sales, donations, sponsoring and voting will go to club development that will provide essential community improvements!
