Corduff Club Notes 09.03.2023

Corduff Gaels Lotto:

The last Lotto draw was held on Monday 6th March with a Jackpot of €6000.  The numbers drawn were 6,11,12 and 21. Nobody had the correct combination. Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners Tom McEnaney Yearly, Medeleine Callan Online, Peter McCabe Online, Jacqui McGarrell c/o Rheanne and Adrian McGarrell c/o Rheanne. Next week’s Jackpot is €6,100 with the draw on Monday 13th March February. Remember you can play the Lotto online from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the world and we encourage you to support our Lotto. The online provider is Club Force and the link to play the Lotto is available on Corduff GAA pages on Facebook and Twitter or you can download the Club Force App. Many online options are now available so go online and buy your lotto because if you’re not in you can’t win! Online Lotto must be played by 6pm on Monday and envelopes must be returned by 6pm also.

Corduff Gaels Registration:

Registration is now due and should be paid up asap. There are many options available from non-playing member to family membership plus Lotto. Contact any Committee member or pay online on foireann.ie 

Corduff Gaels And Corduff Ladies Registration Evening:

Registration for all Juvenile boys and girls up to Minors took place  last Friday with a brilliant crowd of eager players present. It’s essential that all players are registered so if your child isn’t registered contact any Committeee member or coach before the season commences on 25th March. 

On the night Corduff Juveniles were presented with their U13 medals for 2021 and 2022. And also the victorious Féile Team of 2022 was presented with their medals. Congratulations to all teams and mentors. Thanks is extended to the 4 Senior players Pádraic Keenan, Feargal Hanratty, Dee Marron and Jordan McGarrell for taking time out to make the presentations to Corduff’s future stars.

Cubs And Accademy Training:

Exciting news for all boys from U5-U9 and all girls from U6-U10 is that from Saturday 25th March Corduff pitches are going to be a hive of activity as the Cubs and Academy training begins with all boys and girls training together. Last Saturday morning it was the turn of the coaches to be trained up for the forthcoming Cubs And Accademy training. The wonderful Emma and Louise put the coaches through their paces with the young Cubs who were present. The Cubs and the coaches had super fun so we can’t wait for the the 25th!

Tommy Feeney Cup:

Corduff Ladies are looking forward to welcoming Tommy’s home club Ardara, Donegal to Corduff this weekend for the Tommy Feeney Memorial Cup. Details are as follows: 

14:45 Ardara team amd mentors plus families arrive in Corduff 

15:30 Throw-in for the Minor match between Corduff and Ardara 

17:00 Presentation of the Tommy Feeney Memorial Cup plus other awards 

17:15 Food in the Community Centre

20:00 A night of entertainment in The Mountain Dew , Music by R U 4 Reel.

Hope to see good Corduff support at the match in memory of Tommy who played an integral part in the club and the community.
