Latton GAA Club Club Notes 23.02.2023

Lotto draw was held online on Monday 20th February 2023.

The numbers drawn were 20 22 29 30 . There was no Jackpot winner . Our Lucky dip winners Briege McCCabe,Mary Traynor & Cathal Googhan. Next weeks jackpot is €8,950.

Thanks to all our players for their continual support of our Lotto.

 

It’s time to get “Fit for February “..

This week seen the start of our 4 week program with something for all ..

Monday’s starts with getting out for a walk on our Track.

On Tuesday mornings our Activator Poles walking return at 11am with the very popular Coach Joe .

Wednesday’s at 8pm we have Kevin Hughes with a 4 week Fitness Class.. all levels will be covered so we would be delighted to see as many as possible attend

Thursday’s see’s volleyball return to the Centre at 8pm for our ladies ( Please Note this does not commence until Thursday 16th due to a function in the hall this week)

Friday’s we see Katie Duffy’s Couch to 5k returns on the track at 7pm . On Saturday’s we encourage all to head to Cootehill on Saturday mornings to Walk / Jog / Run in the Cootehill parkrun . This program is run by our Healthy Club in conjunction with Monaghan Sports Partnership . The classes will be free from a weekly charge however we will have a donation bucket at the end of the 4 weeks to cover running costs.

We look forward to seeing you all out in large numbers this week and let get Fit and have some Fun together in February !!!!

Senior Football Up & Going for 2023

We play Scotstown in the Ulster League this evening in Corduff at 8.15pm.

 

Annual Presentation Dinner dance

Our Annual Presentation Dinner Dance takes place on Saturday 11th March in the GAA Centre . A great night is promised with Doors opening at 7.30pm with Food served at 8-30pm. Presentations on the Night include…

* Presentation of winning medals to our Div 1A Reserve winners 2022

* Induction of our Hall of Fame Nominees

* Presentation to our newly wed couples

* Senior Player of the Year 2022

* Reserve Player of the Year 2022

* Senior Hurler of the Year 2022

* Other Special Presentations

Admission is by payment at the door on the night and is €20.

Music is provided by the brilliant Gavin Coyle & Aoibheann Deery and a great night is is store.

Lenten Walks

Latton O’Rahilly GAA Healthy Club have set you a challenge..for all our members and to facilitate those com-pleting The Wild Run West challenge and want to get an early run /walk in from Ash Wednesday for 40 days we will turn on the lights on our walking track weekdays from 5-45 to 7am .

Start a new habit in lent ….

 

Irish Songs , Music & Dancing Workshops 3rd -6th Class
