Emyvale G.A.A Weekly Club Notes 09-02-2023
Ireland Lights Up: So far there has been great use of the walking track at Tully were Emyvale G.A.A., in corporation with RTE’s Operation Transformation, welcome anyone in the area to come along to Ireland Lights Up at our floodlit walking track at St Oliver Plunkett Park Tully. This will continue every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm. All fitness and age levels are welcome! The club are also taking part in the “Every Step Count” challenge which invites participants to collectively walk 4,000km together throughout the initiative until 15th February. You can sign up on the MyLife App to join the challenge and log each of your walks and runs. Happy walking!
Emylott Jackpot is an even €7500
This week’s Emylott Results for Monday 6th February 2023. Numbers Drawn were 5,19,30,32 There was NO Jackpot winner. There was 1 match 3 winner, Luke Kelly, Drumully, Emyvale. Referee’s: We are actively looking new referees for the club. Would you like to test yourself out to see would you enjoy what’s a very rewarding and important role in Gaelic games or maybe you are a past player who would like to continue the buzz of match day? Why not give it a go and see? All training and support will be provided and we are lucky to have one of Ulster’s best referees in our club to help out along the way. U15/Minors: Great to see both these age groups back out and training. Good luck to the management and the panels for the upcoming season ahead
NFL Div.1 It was a tough day out for Monaghan in Tralee in their division 1 clash with Kerry last Sunday. A trip that has borne fruit in the past was a bridge too far
this time round, however it was great to see our own Karl Gallagher starting and playing the complete game and scoring a fine point. Next fixture is at home to Donegal on Sunday 19th in Clones.
