This week’s Emylott Results for Monday 16th January 2023 Numbers Drawn were 3,11,26,27 There was NO Jackpot winner. There was 1 match 3 winner: Vincent Brady, Cavanmountray, Killybrone Emyvale. Promoters Prize: Martin O Brien, Hugh Bougue & MPA. Thank You for your continued support, and good luck in next week’s draw for a jackpot of €7200!

Referee’s: We are actively looking new referees for the club. Would you like to test yourself out to see would you enjoy what’s a very rewarding and important role in Gaelic games? Why not give it a go and see? All training and support will be provided and we are lucky to have one of Ulster’s best referees in our club to help out along the way. Contact any committee member or our Club referee Niall ‘Mo’ McKenna for more details.

Ireland Lights Up: Emyvale GAA is delighted to see Ireland Lights Up return this year. This initiative is run in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation and Get Ireland Walking 2023. We invite anyone in the area to come along to Ireland Lights Up at our floodlit walking track at St Oliver Plunkett Park Tully. This will continue every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm. All fitness and age levels are welcome! The club are also taking part in the “Every Step Count” challenge which invites participants to collectively walk 4,000km together throughout the initiative until 15th February. You can sign up on the MyLife App to join the challenge and log each of your walks and runs. Happy walking!

New Arrival: Congratulations to Ciaran and Eleanor Connolly on the birth of baby Tommy recently. Hopefully a new generation of Emyvale player on the way from the Connolly household!

Sympathies: Emyvale G.A.A. would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Damien & Aine McCaughey and extended family on the recent passing of Damien’s father Sean McCaughey, Augher. We also send our most sincere condolences to Glynn Williams and family on the sad passing of Jimmy Gilbert, UK and condolences also to the family and friends of the late Anna Finnegan, Glaslough. Our sympathies go out to the McKenna and Bogue families and to their extended families on the recent passing of Seamus Treanor, Tirnaneil and our deepest sympathies go to Peter & Suzanne Ronaghan and family on the sad passing of Eleanor Ronaghan, Tydavnet. We send sincere condolences to Declan McGarvey and his family on the recent passing of Mary Breslin, Ardara, Co. Donegal.
