Ireland Lights Up

Don’t forget each Wednesday Currin GFC in partnership with St Enda’s National school are taking part in the above. This initiative is to bring people together for

some exercise in conjunction with Operation Transformation in the recently refurbished Community Walking Track. Registration will commence at 6.45 pm with walking to commence at 7pm. A large number have turned out despite wintery weather conditions on both nights, so let’s even get a bigger crowd this week.

Fundraiser

Currin GFC is running another Last Man Standing Competition this year with a twist. Instead of doing premiership teams it is based upon the Allianz National Football League. Entry costs €10. All information can be found on Currin’s Facebook page or contact Aoife for details on 0877775960. Please all support this fundraiser as well as having a bit of craic. There are sheets in Connolly’s shop also. Closing date is Friday the 27th at 9pm, so get those entries to Aoife.

National League

Monaghan start their National League campaign against Armagh in Castleblaney on the 28th of January at 6.30pm. This is an all-ticket event for adults and juveniles. Good luck to the team & management!

Opening of Stand

Please keep Saturday the 18th Of March free when we will officially open the stand that afternoon followed by presentation to our McKeown Junior B championship winners on the night. Light supper will be served followed by music by Limelite. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Monaghan Ladies.

Hard luck to Kieran and the Monaghan ladies’ team who suffered a defeat away to Laois last Sunday. Next outing is a home game against Tyrone in Clones at 2pm. Please come out and support the girls.

R.I.P.
