Ireland Lights Up

Don’t forget each Wednesday Currin GFC in partnership with St Enda’s National school are taking part in the above. This initiative is to bring people together for

some exercise in conjunction with Operation Transformation in the recently refurbished Community Walking Track. Registration will commence at 6.45 pm with walking to commence at 7pm. A large number have turned out despite wintery weather conditions on both nights, so let’s even get a bigger crowd this week.

Fundraiser

Currin GFC Last Man standing is up and running. Good Luck to all the entrants. For anyone knocked out in first round you can buy back in for this week only.

Monthly meeting

Committee meeting for February is this Wednesday in club rooms at 8.15pm. Please all members attend where possible.

National League

Monaghan fell short last Saturday evening in Castleblaney to neighbours Armagh with final scoreline of Monaghan 1-12 to Armagh 1-14.

This weekend, they make the long journey to Tralee to face the All-Ireland champions Kerry in a 1.30pm kick off on Sunday. Good luck to Team and Management.

Opening of Stand

Please keep Saturday the 18th Of March free when we will officially open the stand that afternoon followed by presentation to our McKeown Junior B championship winners on the night. Light supper will be served followed by music by Limelite. More details to follow in the coming weeks.

Monaghan Ladies.

Well done to Kieran, the Monaghan ladies’ team and management who had a great win over Tyrone in Clones on Sunday last. Next outing is an away game to Armagh . Please come out and support the girls.
