Week 4 of our Kelloggs Cul Camps will see our coaches travel to Truagh, Killanny and Latton for a busy week with 3 sold out camps. Please note that you are not allowed to register for the camps on Monday morning. Parents should also be advised that it is forecast to be a very warm next week so children should arrive with suncream applied in the morning and some that they can apply throughout the day, a cap/hat to protect from the sun and plenty of water (coaches will provide loads of water breaks).
Week 3 of our camps saw 350 children in Carrickmacross, Emyvale and Doohamlet enjoy a fun filled week in the sunshine and warm weather. Each of the participants who attended the camps got an opportunity to play football, hurling, camogie and rounders.
Monaghan Coaching and Games would once again like to thank the host clubs for providing their excellent facilities and for their assistance implementing the traffic plan each morning and afternoon on the camp. In addition to this we would also like to thank the parents, children, Club Contact, coaches and camp co-ordinators who participated in ensuring the camps went well for all involved.
Please note that due to the high temperatures forecasted for Monday, Monaghan Kelloggs Cul Camps being held in Truagh, Latton & Killanny will start at the earlier time @ 9pm and finish at 1pm. This decision is being take to ensure your child is not going to be in the sun at the warmest part of the day.
Please ensure your child has plenty of suncream (put on before they leave for camp), a hat and plenty of water with them on Monday.
