U15 Hurling Development Squad

Over the past couple of months, Monaghan U15 Hurling Development Squad have been busy training as well as taking part in matches against Louth and Longford.

The first game against Louth took place on Saturday, 6th November at the Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence in Cloghan. The team played some brilliant hurling and competed extremely well in a tight and competitive game. This was the first time these players had the honour of wearing their county jersey and the team can be proud of their efforts.

Last Saturday, 20th November, saw the team travel to the Louth GAA Centre of Excellence in Darver to compete in an intercounty blitz against Louth and Longford. The players competed well in both games and it was clear that all involved thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A special word of thanks to Oisin McManus, Ulster GAA Regional Hurling Development Officer, who delivered the training sessions for the team as well as helping out on matchdays. Thanks also to Stephen McKenna (Carrickmacross), Adrian Dalton (Monaghan Harps) and Cian Dillon (Latton) who helped out with the team over the past few months.

Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to thank all the players and parents for all the effort throughout the year.
