Over the past month, Monaghan Coaching and Games have concluded successful Foundation coaching courses in both Football and Hurling.

The Foundation course is the first step on the GAA Coaching Pathway. These courses saw coaches complete the online elements online earlier in the year with the practical elements being run over the past number of weeks.

In total, 110 coaches from 23 clubs completed the Football Foundation course and 24 coaches from 6 clubs completed the Hurling Foundation course. Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to thank Cremartin GAA, Carrick Emmets GFC and Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence for hosting the courses.

We would also like to thank all the coaches who participated on the courses as well as the excellent tutors Paul O’Connor, Colin Malone, Cillian Cromwell and Pauric Dowdall for delivering the courses.
