Last Man Standing Competition: Our last man standing competition has come to its conclusion. The final round of fixtures depended on the results of Newcastle and Crystal Palace: a draw for Palace knocked out Patrick Meehan and the two remaining entrants were left waiting anxiously on Newcastle United’s result versus Southampton. A win for Newcastle left Tadhg Dunne and Gabriel McQuillan in the competition and the lads made the decision to split the winnings. Congratulations to Tadhg and Gabriel! We greatly appreciate the public’s support for what was a successful fundraiser and many thanks to the organisers who kept the competition running smoothly for the nine rounds of fixtures.
