AIB Ulster Club Intermediate Football Championship Semi-Final
Magheracloone 0-13 Glenn John Martins 0-7 17/11/19
Magheracloone secured their place in the Ulster Club IFC Final with a six-point win over Glenn John Martins in Armagh last Sunday. A dominant first-half performance laid the foundations for Magheracloone’s seventh straight championship win, with Michael Metzger starring up front as they claimed a 0-8 to 0-3 interval lead. A brace of Tommy Freeman points moved the Mitchells seven clear after the restart and with Metzger taking his tally to 0-7 from play, they never looked like being caught, with neither side adding to their tallies during the last ten minutes. Magheracloone return to the Athletic Grounds on Saturday, November 30 to face Galbally.
