Ulster GAA Provincial Indoor Football Blitz’s

Ulster GAA will be running four Provincial Indoor Football Blitz’s, targeted at clubs that struggle to get numbers or are particularly weak at U14 level. 

Four Blitzes are organised for next year’s U14 teams:

U14 – 19th October, 23rd November 2019, 1st and 15th February 2020. Eligible Players must be U14 on the 1st January 2020

All Blitzes start at 12noon and finish sharp at 2.00pm

Only teams who have Pre Registered and Prepaid will be able to participate, we will be operating on a first come first served bases. Please note a Club can only enter one team to each age grade.

Please ensure you book into the right date for the right age grade of your team.

Rules

  • All games will preferabley be 9v9, but if a team has fewer players they willbe accommodated down to a minimum of 7v7
  • The ball will be live at all times unless there is a score, no line balls and no wide ball
  • Player has a maximum of two touches before moving the ball on
  • Cannot score direct from kick outs
  • All games use size 4 for U14
  • No Managers or subs allowed in the playing area during or before games, only players starting
  • No warm ups on the pitch, games must start on time, so please sort your team out before the previous game is finished.
  • Players exhibiting bad behaviour must be replaced by another player or the team will have to play with a player less.​
