Married to Anthony, with three children – Ava (13), Patrick (11) and Fionn (8) – Elaine was diagnosed in 2014 with Stage 4 Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer). Surgery and ongoing chemotherapy were required to keep the cancer stable. Unfortunately, in July 2019, Elaine took a rare reaction to one of the chemo medications leading to paralysis from the waist down. She is now confined to a wheelchair. Any monies raised will go toward much-needed adaptations to Elaine’s home to give her more independence on her road to recovery. Tickets can be purchased from Dónal Sherry (086 2336159).
