It took extra time to decide this Junior championship fixture between Drumhowan and Oram in Parc Gratten Inniskeen, on Saturday evening last, and even in the dying embers of this game it looked as if it might go to a penalty shoot out, but Oram squandered a number of chances to gain the much needed equalizer.
A heavy shower some 5 minutes after throw in, ensured that the football on offer would not be of the highest quality with both sides guilty of numerous handling errors in the greasy conditions. Despite that both sides did serve up an encounter that had the supporters on the edge of their seat right up to the final whistle with referee Christopher Brady trying to allow the game to flow as much as possible due to the conditions but at times giving rise to situations where things could have boiled over.
