Monaghan GAA Coaching & Games held a very entertaining 7 a side U15 Ulster Og Blitz on Tuesday the 9th of July in the Entekra Centre of Excellence.
A total of 7 teams took part in very competitive matches with some excellent skills being displayed by all teams. Tyholland overcame Castleblayney in what was a very exciting final with some brilliant end to end football being played. Clubs which were represented on the evening were Tyholland, Castleblayney, Clones, Magheracloone, Clontibret, Aughnamullen and Cremartin.
Tyholland who were the eventual winners of the tournament and will go on to represent Monaghan in the U15 Ulster Og Blitz which will be held in September. A representative from Ulster council will be in contact with Tyholland with more details about the competition in due course. A big thank you must go to all the teams and coaches who took part in the tournament and a special mention must go to the referee’s who officiated the matches.
