Summer Set To Sizzle With Mallon’s Sausages U17 Finals

The curtain came down on the Manor Farm sponsored U15 League Finals last Thursday with a thrilling evening of matches. With 3 finals up for decision, Division 1 Shield, Division 2 Shield and Division 2 Cup, 3  venues, Tyholland, Sean McDermotts and Oram plus 6 teams Cremartin,Truagh,Clones,Killanny,Clontibret and Harps all in contention the stage was set for action.

And, action they produced! Spectators were treated to lively, energetic, dynamic and vigorous displays of first class football of epic proportions as teams impressed with skills and solid performances scoring 25 goals in total! At times there was nothing separating sides and we were treated to the first draw of the season which went to the very end of extra time to separate the teams. Congratulations to all teams involved in last week’s finals on their performances. The results were as follows:

Division 1 Shield : Clontibret 3-14 Monaghan Harps 2-10

Division 2 Shield: Cremartin 8-12 Truagh 6-16

Division 2 Cup: Clones 3-16 Killanny 3-07

Today, Tuesday 30th July the summer is set to sizzle as we see a switch to Mallon’s Sausages U17 Finals with 2 finals up for contention.

While moving up the grades we can look forward to more football of the highest standard at 2 venues with 4 teams and 2 titles up for grabs!
