Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 18th July 2019

By Majella Boyd Fri 19th Jul

Seniors hosted top of the table Magheracloone in Tully on Friday last. After a slow start the visitors opened up an early lead before David Mc Allister got the opening goal. This was followed shortly by another goal from David again from a well worked move from the kick out. At half time there was 4pts between the sides 11pts to 2.1. Magheracloone started the second half with 2 more scores on the board before Daniel Mc Mahon and Robbie Mc Allister closed the gap. Emyvale were on top at this point and further points from Ryan, Colin and 2 more from Danny brought the game level. Just when the momentum was with the home side, Magheracloone was awarded a penalty and it was dispatched into the bottom left. This was followed by another quick point leaving 4pts with normal time almost up. But great credit goes to our lads who chipped away with points on the board from Robbie, Ryan and Danny before a well worked move with Ryan Kelly on the end of it resulting in the leveller. Full time score 2.11 – 1.14.
