Monaghan’s U-17 hurlers will look to build on their winning start to the Celtic Challenge when they take on Wicklow in Drumree on Wednesday evening at 7.30.
The weekend’s schedule centres around the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Leagues. Saturday’s Division 1B fixtures are Emyvale v Ballybay and Killanny v Aughnamullen, while in Division 2A, it’s Doohamlet v Drumhowan and Éire Óg v Cremartin. Division 2B sees Corduff and Inniskeen host Clones and Aghabog on Saturday, with Blackhill facing Monaghan Harps on Sunday. The Division Three pairings are Clontibret v Tyholland; Rockcorry v Castleblayney; Scotstown v Oram; and Seán McDermotts v Killeevan.
The Silver Hill Foods Development Hurling League continues on Thursday, with Carrickmacross, Castleblayney, Clontibret and Monaghan Harps at home to East Cavan Gaels, Latton, Mattock Rangers and Truagh, respectively.
