Our Annual Golf Classic took place on Friday the 10th of May and Saturday the 11th of May 2019 where golfers came from all over to participate in this year’s tournament.
Firstly we wish to sincerely thank McAree Engineering, Ballinode once again, for their very generous support in sponsoring our Golf Classic. We are indebted to them for their continued support to Monaghan GAA.
To our all the golfers and teams who travelled near and far over the two days to participate in the event, they certainly made this tournament the success it was. A special thanks to all our overseas golfers and our friends from the Monaghan GAA Supporters club in New York to travelled to be with us.
To Rossmore Golf Club and the all the staff of Rossmore Golf club who hosted this event in the most professional manner and catered for our every need.
To everyone who sponsored a Tee/Green for the Classic, this is very much appreciated. To our organisation committee who ensured everything ran like clockwork. To the Northern Standard for the coverage they very generously allocated for the golf classic over the last number of weeks.
The night of entertainment which involved the presentation of prizes kindly sponsored by McAree Engineering was definitely one to remember!! We extend our appreciation to JP Graham in hosting a wonderful Up for the Match session with special guests – Brendan Beggan (Monaghan), Peter McGinnity ( Fermanagh), Eugene McKenna (Tyrone) and Charlie Redmond (Dublin)
