Allianz National Football League Division One
Kerry 0-17 Monaghan 0-13 3/3/19
Monaghan fell short of a return to winning ways in the Allianz NFL after Kerry finished strongly to continue their strong form in Killarney last Sunday. Conor McManus was in prolific form as Monaghan built up a lead that they held onto for long spells, but Kerry hit seven of the last eight points to claim a fifth straight win. Seán O’Shea and Tommy Walsh kicked 0-12 between them for the hosts, who now move four points clear at the top of the table. Monaghan face a must-win derby against Cavan in Clones next up on Saturday, March 16.
