Charity match: We kicked off 2019 in style with our annual charity match on New Year’s Day. Thanks to all sponsors, everyone who took part in or attended the match, the organising committee and to all the club members who prepared or brought along food on the day. We were delighted to once again be joined by several of our friends from Monaghan Special Olympics, including our own Hugh Coyle, who got the game underway as usual. Athletes from the Special Olympics Club, Mark McCabe and Mark McElroy, got the crowd going with some great scores during the game. All funds raised will go to a local charity/charities to be named soon and any sponsorship forms still to be returned can be left into the clubhouse or to organisers Mary White and Owen Connell. Please return forms and money raised as soon as possible.
Meetings: The club’s first monthly meetings of 2019 take place this Thursday in the clubhouse: juvenile at 7pm, senior at 8.
