Monaghan Harps notes

Monaghan Harps Lotto: Numbers 4, 9, 14 and 15. Jackpot of €1,200 not won. Jackpot for Sunday, December 9 is €1,300 and Ann and Adrian Trappe are on duty. Lotto draw takes place in our clubhouse every Sunday night. All welcome. Thanks to everyone for their support for our Lotto, which has now played a critical role in our club’s funding for almost 25 years. We ask all club members to continue to promote our Lotto as much as possible.

Juvenile Presentation: We host our annual Juvenile Presentation and Scór performance in the clubhouse on Saturday, December 15 at 7pm. Special guest on the night will be Dublin senior star James McCarthy, with the Sam Maguire Cup.

Scór: Well done to all the Monaghan Harps members who represented the county at the Ulster semi-final of Scór na nÓg in Silverbridge on Saturday last. A special mention to Eoin Mac Cléire, who qualified in the Recitation section for the Ulster Final, again in Silverbridge, on January 12, 2019.

Coaching: Upcoming coaching development being run by Monaghan GAA include two workshops in early January. Coaches are asked to please contact Noreen McMorrow if interested. Well done to our coaches who completed Level 1 courses last weekend.

Schools: Best wishes to all the club players currently representing schools teams. We have eight players on the St. Macartan’s College, Monaghan senior panel that has qualified for the MacRory Cup knock-out stages, as well as several on the Sem side currently awaiting the Rannafast Shield Final.

Good luck: To the McElligott clann and Mullinalaghta St. Columba’s in this Sunday’s Leinster Club SFC Final.

Sympathy: The club sends sympathy to the McGinnity family on the death of Suzanne’s father, Paddy Gilroy. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
