Eurotech Junior Football League Shield Final
Scotstown 0-13 Oram 0-3
Scotstown ran out easy winners in this one-sided JFL Shield Final in perfect conditions at Gavan Duffy Park last Sunday. Both teams fielded similar sides to last month’s JFC qualifier, where Oram knocked Scotstown out after an exciting finish, but this game bore little resemblance to that one. Oram produced none of the form that saw them reach a championship semi-final, as they went scoreless for almost three-quarters of the game, which saw Scotstown hit nine unanswered points. Ruairí Sheehan led six scorers for Scotstown, who also had good performances from the likes of Conor Forde, Adrian Carbin and Mark Treanor.
