Killanny finished strongly to knock Blackhill out of the IFC in this qualifier at Castleblayney last Saturday. A Kevin Crawley goal early in the second half proved crucial for Killanny, who had nine scorers as they stayed in contention. Paul Finnegan and Hugh Byrne hit the net for Blackhill, but Killanny took over in the closing stages.
