Greenfield Foods Senior Football Championship Semi-Final

Ballybay 1-15 Clontibret 1-8                                    23/9/18

Ballybay qualified for their first SFC Final since 2012 when they pulled away from Clontibret in the closing stages at St. Tiarnach’s Park on Sunday. A Conor McManus goal helped Clontibret get off to a flying start, but Ballybay turned an early five-point deficit into a two-point lead (0-9 to 1-4) by the end of the first half.

Ballybay took charge five minutes after the restart when Christopher McGuinness found the net and with Paul Finlay pulling the strings, they went on to kick the last five points to secure a rematch with Scotstown on October 7.
