Greenfield Foods Senior Football Championship Round 3B
Ballybay 0-16 Truagh 0-13 15/9/18
Ballybay completed the SFC semi-final line-up when they held off a strong challenge from Truagh in Emyvale last Saturday evening. Truagh gave the pre-game favourites a real scare in an entertaining encounter, but the north-Monaghan side, who trailed by just two points after playing into a stiff breeze in the first half, would rue kicking 12 wides. With Paul Finlay and Colm Lennon leading the scoring and Ryan Wylie putting in a big performance, Ballybay advanced to another semi-final appearance.
