Seniors: We fell to a 3-15 to 2-13 defeat at home to Truagh in the Shoe City Senior Football League last Saturday. This was a similar story, with goals from Morgan Coyle and Eoin O’Hanlon and a string of points from Eoin, Cian Bradley, Senan Cudden, Shay Kelly and Fionán Ó Gallchóir earning a 2-11 to 1-1 half-time lead. Eoin added another goal after the restart and with the Harps attack continuing to shine, the boys won out by 3-21 to 4-7.

Jack Lynch and Kyle Cooney went on to add further goals and with Fionán and Morgan Coyle also on target, a 6-12 to 2-3 win saw our lads through to a final against Carrickmacross, with details of that fixture not known at the time of writing.
