There is a rescheduled game between Clontibret and Castleblayney in the Shoe City Senior Football League on Friday, while there is a north-Monaghan derby between Truagh and Emyvale in the Eurotech Junior Football League.
Latton host Donaghmoyne in the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 1A on Thursday, while Sunday’s fixtures are Truagh v Magheracloone and Clontibret v leaders Scotstown. Division 1B joint-leaders Killanny and Castleblayney are up against Monaghan Harps and Cremartin, respectively, on Sunday, while Aughnamullen face Emyvale. Sunday’s Division 2A fixtures are Doohamlet v Ballybay, Drumhowan v Carrickmacross and Seán McDermotts v Blackhill, while in Division 2B, it’s Corduff v Clones on Friday and Monaghan Harps v Aghabog on Wednesday. Division Three continues on Sunday with Currin v Oram and Inniskeen v Rockcorry.
Tuesday sees the U-21 Football Championship take centre stage, with the following preliminary-round fixtures: Carrickmacross v Latton; Donaghmoyne v Corduff; Éire Óg v Emyvale; Killanny v Clones; Scotstown v Aughnamullen; and Toome v Inniskeen.
The Silver Hill Farm Development Hurling League Final takes place in Inniskeen on Thursday, with Craobh Rua, Camlough taking on Louth side Mattock Rangers, following their semi-final wins over Castleblayney and Clontibret.
The Silver Hill Farm U-17 Hurling League sees Carrickmacross, East Cavan Gaels and Keady host Truagh, Lisbellaw and Cootehill, respectively, on Saturday. The Silver Hill Farm Senior Hurling Championship begins next Thursday (June 28), when the first round of group games features Inniskeen v Clontibret and Carrickmacross v St. Macartan’s (Truagh/Monaghan Harps).
The juvenile competitions also continue this week, with the U-15 leagues resuming after the exam break and a couple of games also down for decision in the new U-11 Football Liam Stirrat Development League, as well as finals in the Gerry’s Prepared Veg. Under-13 Football Championships.
Killeevan and Tyholland contest the Division Four decider at in Monaghan on Friday, while the Division Two title is up for grabs between Clontibret and Drumhowan in Doohamlet on Sunday. Gavan Duffy Park also hosts Monday’s Division Three Final between Doohamlet and Emyvale.
