U11 Spring League off to a good start!!
U11 Spring League off to a good start!!

On Saturday past saw the start of our U11 Spring league, we are following the same format as previous years with 8 zones made up of different clubs from throughout the county. 12 clubs in total have entered two teams which is a positive in terms of players getting an opportunity to play and represent their club. This games programme follows the Go Games principles of participation, skill development & enjoyment.

General feedback for both mentors and referees would have been very positive, though we did receive some suggestions on how to improve the rules going forward. So Monaghan Coaching staff will be in touch with the mentors before the next game on Saturday 14th April to discuss these.

Finally Monaghan Coaching & Games would like to thank the clubs & mentors for thier assistance and also to the referees in officating the games. Without the support of our referees this programme could not be delivered so Monaghan Coaching & Games appreciate and would like to acknowledge the support of the referees.

Please see below the results of round 1, in total we had at 17 games being played with 23 clubs taking part.
