To maintain a safe and secure environment all voluntary stewards are required to be fully trained and certified. Monaghan GAA are committed to ensuring all venues across the county are safe and family friendly venues and that on match day all venues comply with GAA best practice.

We are holding a Stewards Training Course for voluntary stewards to help assist with our major games in the county at all our venues. Please promote this course within your club using your weekly club notes, website, social media outlets etc

Course Details

Venue: Monaghan GAA Training Grounds, Cloghan

Date :  Friday 2nd February 6.30pm to 9.30pm AND Saturday 3rdFebruary 9.30am to 12.30pm.

***You are required to attend the Course on both sessions***

This course is designed to equip potential stewards with the knowledge, skills and competence to act as a steward and you will be trained and accredited by the Portobello College, Dublin.

It is important to have qualified personnel in our county to run major events in accordance with Croke Park directives and clubs are expected to make people available for this Stewards Training Course which is provided free of charge.
