Best wishes to Inis Caoin who will pick the award up for “Best Contribution for Scór and Culture ” this Friady night at the Monaghan GAA County awards night. Many may ask how would a club achieve this award, Inniskeen throughout the years have contributed and participated in all elements of Scór full report next week.
The Tráth na gCeist Boird will have the format of any other table quiz 10 Rounds of 8 Questions. There will be 1 “ceist as Gaeilge” here and there throughout the quiz. Rounds of questions usually will be under the following headings 1) Gaelic and Ladies Football 2) & 3) General GAA Round 4) Irish History 5) World History and World Geography 6) Irish Geography 7) Irish Current Affairs 8) World Current Affairs 9) Irish Culture 10) General Knowledge. (all available in Leabhar Rialacha Scór, Scór Rule book)
We hope that each club will enter a quiz team or perhaps two teams – a team should be made up of 4 club members under 17 Scór na nÓg or 4 over 17 Scór Sinsear.
Can I also remind clubs that The Scór Sinsear Competition (Over 17) will be held in Tullycorbett Hall on Sunday 25th February at 3pm.Competitions in Rince Foirne, Rince Seit, Solo Singing, Ballad Singing, Recitation, Group Music, Drama.
