AGM: The senior club’s Annual General Meeting takes place in our clubhouse this evening (Thursday, November 23) at 7.30pm. We encourage all club members and anyone who wants to get involved to attend the AGM.
Juvenile AGM: A large crowd attended our Juvenile AGM in the clubhouse last Thursday evening. Úna Forde and Damien Morgan presented the Secretary’s Report and Chairman’s Address, both giving an overview of another busy year for our juveniles and thanking everyone involved. They commended our team mentors and players, as well as everyone who helped the club host Féile in June. Damien made a presentation to Úna, who is stepping aside from her role as Saturday-morning training coordinator after years of great service to the club’s youngest players. We are sure that Úna will continue to play an active role in the club. There were reports from Martin Sheridan and Adrian Gunn on our Under-12 teams; Colm Shalvey on our Under-14 teams; Mel McMorrow on the Under-16 campaign; Finbarr Conlon on our Saturday-morning training; Martin Sheridan on the U-10 boys (on behalf of James Corrigan); and Frank Burke on the U-10 girls. Mel also presented a questionnaire with the hope of getting more people involved in our juvenile structure. The following juvenile committee was returned for 2018: Chairman: Damien Morgan; Secretary: Noreen McMorrow; Vice-Chairman: Martin Sheridan; Assistant Secretary: Úna Forde. Thanks to everyone who attended.
