AGMs: The juvenile club’s Annual General Meeting takes place in our clubhouse this evening (Thursday, November 16) at 7.30pm. The senior club AGM is on next Thursday (November 23). All members are welcome to attend.
Schools: Hard luck to Gaelscoil Ultain, who were edged out in last in Saturday’s Cumann na mBunscol McGinn Cup county final, and to the St. Macartan’s College Rannafast Cup team who were pipped in extra-time of Friday’s quarter-final against St. Colman’s. Well done to all the Harps involved with both teams for their efforts.
Scór: The Acorn Life-sponsored Scór na nÓg (Under-17) County Final will be held in Threemilehouse on Saturday week, November 25, with competitions in Rince Foirne, Rince Seit, Solo Singing, Ballad Singing, Recitation, Group.
Tráth na gCeist: Muineachán le Gaeilge hosted a very successful bilingual quiz in our clubhouse last Friday night. Well done and comhghairdeas to everyone involved.
Kit for Your Club: We are asking for support with the McCaughey Fuels “Kit for Your Club” loyalty rewards scheme. Our supporters can get a rewards token with every home heating oil delivery and give the token to a committee member or leave it into the clubhouse. Collecting enough tokens will qualify us for training equipment.
Coaching: There are several upcoming coaching courses/workshops in Cloghan. Check the Monaghan GAA website and contact Pádraig Callan if you wish to attend any.
Fun Day: Please make sure that any outstanding balloon race cards are returned to Jimmy Croarkin or Úna Forde ASAP and that juveniles’ full cards include sizes for the new Harps training tops.
