Latton qualified for the SFC semi-finals for the first time since 2012 when they edged past Castleblayney in a low-scoring qualifier played in difficult conditions at Scotstown last Sunday. The sides were level at 0-3 apiece at half-time and although Dermot Malone moved Blayney ahead after the restart, Latton hit five of the last seven points to set up a clash with Magheracloone on Sunday week (September 24).
